LEANNE
A limited series sitcom where a woman (“Mom”) in her 50s is forced to rebuild her life after a divorce. She’s unfiltered, quirky, and has the perfect Southern charm for the future ahead. Her aura literally reads, “Eh! Menopause will go away sometime, but let me show you how a hot flash feels.”
It is the perfect show to refresh your mind. It’s feel-good, comic, and most importantly, a mix of Southern humor and heart. And as the famous line says, “Oh! Don’t lose those curves — nothing good happens on a straight road.”
TASKAREE: THE SMUGGLER’S WEB
The title may sound serious, but the thrill in this web series is intense. A customs officer is dedicated to taking down a notorious smuggler who leads a powerful syndicate. It may not be as mind-blowing as the Professor in Money Heist, but it definitely carries the show with unexpected plot twists.
There is thrill, romance, drama, and humor — basically, a plot that won’t let you get out of your seat even after a three-course meal. What more could you ask for?
And a special mention — Emraan Hashmi absolutely nailed it in this series. For those who know him, the transition from Bheegey Hont Tere to a customs officer was surely unexpected.
CHAMPAGNE PROBLEMS
Hmm… the title may give most of it away, but there is always a twist.
It’s a meet-cute movie, but just as fun and interesting. Sydney, a high-powered executive, travels to Paris to acquire a historic vineyard before Christmas. At the same time, she’s a woman who has never taken a break from work — now suddenly in the most romantic city in the world.
She bumps into Henry, a charming and knowledgeable stranger, and falls for him, only to discover that he is the prince of the historic vineyard.
What will happen? Will she acquire the vineyard, or will she choose love? There is only one way to find out.
DHURANDHAR
If you’re in the mood for something intense, Dhurandhar brings action blended with layered drama. The story revolves around power, politics, and the cost of ambition. As the narrative unfolds, loyalty is tested and survival becomes the ultimate goal.
It’s not just about action sequences — it’s about the psychological battle behind every decision. If you enjoy strong characters, emotional confrontations, and a storyline that keeps you guessing, this one deserves a spot on your weekend watchlist.
