Let me just say this.
Some people don’t hate games…
they just hate being told what to do.
Because the second someone says:
“Okay so first you have to understand the rules…”
My brain?
already checked out.
I don’t want instructions.
I don’t want a tutorial.
I definitely don’t want to sit there pretending I understood something I didn’t.
I just want to play.
Laugh.
Mess up.
Win by accident.
Lose dramatically.
So if you’re someone who:
- skips instructions
- learns while playing
- or just vibes and hopes for the best
This list is for you.
Unstable Unicorns

The “this is cute… why is everyone attacking me?” game
This game lies to you.
It looks adorable.
Unicorns. Rainbows. Happiness.
And then suddenly:
- someone destroys your entire setup
- someone steals your cards
- and you’re questioning your friendships
The rules are simple enough to pick up while playing.
The real game is:
protect your unicorns and betray everyone else.
Happy Salmon

The “why are we all shouting?” game
This is not a sit-and-play game.
This is:
- shouting
- running around
- aggressively high-fiving strangers
You basically say your action out loud and find someone doing the same.
That’s it.
👉 No thinking.
👉 No strategy.
👉 Just pure chaos.
Perfect for people who get bored in 5 minutes.
🧠 (but not really) The Mind

The “we’re not talking… but we understand each other?” game
This one sounds fake.
You have to play cards in order…
without talking.
No signals.
No hints.
No “wait I have a 3.”
And somehow?
It works.
Or it fails miserably.
Both are equally entertaining.
We Didn’t Playtest This At All

The “wait… that’s the rule?” game
This game is chaos in card form.
You draw a card.
It tells you to do something.
And someone loses. Immediately.
No build-up.
No warning.
No fairness.
It’s random, slightly unfair, and honestly hilarious.
Win, Lose, Banana

The “I don’t know what’s happening… but I don’t trust you” game
This one is all about:
- eye contact
- bluffing
- confusion
Everyone gets a role.
Nobody fully understands what’s going on.
And yet:
you start suspecting everyone.
It’s quick, weird, and somehow very addictive.
Final Thoughts
Maybe the problem isn’t that you hate games.
Maybe you just hate:
- too many rules
- too much thinking
- and that one friend who takes everything too seriously
Because when the game is simple…
you actually start having fun.
And isn’t that the whole point?
So tell me —
are you still the one saying
“I don’t play games”…
or are you just waiting for the right one? 👀
