As the saying goes, ‘I may not have seen every TV series, but I’ve watched enough to know what I like… and what I don’t want to see again!’ series are something which can take time to look for according to your choices and time but that is exactly what I’m here to eliminate. Whether you’re a die-hard fan of classic sitcoms, a crime drama aficionado, or someone who just enjoys a good laugh after a long day, you’ll find something here to tickle your fancy.
So here are some curated choices with maybe a season or two to keep you on your toes and for you to dim the lights and enjoy what’s to come.
- THE POWER
Power is a series about our world with a slight nature’s twist. All of a sudden a bunch of teenage girls get the power of electrocuting someone with their own will with just a tingling sensation through their collarbones leading to jolts through their fingertips. The power leads to different political movements spread across 2-3 continents. Why has it occurred? What is the outcome going to be? And what is their purpose? No one knows. Just how a little laughter, a little teenage romance and the power makes a pretty interesting combination. Curious enough?
- THE BAXTERS
Ooh… a good, old classic family drama is something we can enjoy, relate to and maybe sweep some drops of tears later. The series narrates the story of Elizabeth and John Baxter and their five adult children. In which their eldest daughter Kari is having some troubles.Kari discovers that her husband who is also a professor is having an affair with one of his students. Well obviously heart broken and having no idea how to react Kari turns to her family for some comfort and having a little faith she tries to redeem her marriage back. Well the whole pack of baxters have to get together to protect her lovely Kari and well what happens and doesn’t is something for you to find out.
- WITH LOVE
A series packed with laughter, romance, family drama and well maybe a heartbreak with sibling love. Four interconnecting couples. Each holiday celebrates a different couple. Well basically the Diaz family is finding someone each holiday. They love, break up and maybe relove again. A family that has no boundaries, a lot of problems, emotional resistance a little but love to the most. The way the series portrays love is downright confusing but equally interesting. But the best part is how differently each one sees the world and that just every relationship is shaped differently. We say opposites attract but they can also go really far away. So experience a different bubble of relationships, love and laughter with a must watch series.
