Hello there book enthusiasts! Welcome back for the 7th part of curl up with a good book. Books are becoming a last cause because we feel it’s just easier to watch a movie or perhaps you know I don’t have the time and everything. But one you start reading you don’t get enough of it, why? Because it’s just the magic and love the writer has put to tell you the story or the cause of our living. Every single one of them has a different style, a different tale and the only thing you have to do is find someone from whom you match your vibe.
As we go on through this literary journey let me take you up with some options of magic, love, romance, a tragic tale or maybe a mystery. So without further ado here are 4 book recommendations for you to maybe get addicted to.
- LITTLE WOMEN – LOUISA MAY ALCOTT
A well read tale from generations. The story is so beautiful that it takes you through a journey of every single emotion you have but mostly it just makes you emotional. And as this was actually adored by my favourite show F.R.I.E.N.D.S that was my first call to just go for it. A journey about 4 sisters from adolescence to childhood they take you to a rollercoaster of joy and sorrow and maybe a little of somethings more and once you’ve read it, oh! It’s just never the same again. So if you want to meet the beautiful sisters Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy don’t shy away.
- THE CREATIVE ACT – RICK DUBIN
Over the years Rick has thought deeply about creativity and he realised that being a creative artist is not about the output it’s rather about your relationship with the world. It’s a beautiful course of study where we all can follow the path of the artist. It shows that creativity has a place for everyone but it is just in our hands to make that place larger.

- THE PALACE OF ILLUSIONS – CHITRA BANARJEE DIVAKURNI
As talented as the writer is, I just have no words for this particular novel. It takes you to a little flashback of history in the most beautiful way. The palace of Illusions is half history, half myth, and wholly magical. The tale of Mahabharata from Panchali’s view. Panchali also known as Draupadi describes her journey through birth to marrying her five husbands and decides to remain by their side to reclaim their birth rights. The story is about her, her relationships, her special friendship bond with Krishna but the one thing she cannot deny is also her complicated friendship and her secret attraction to her husband’s worst enemy. Caught up in the manipulating hands of fate this tale is truly heart touching.
- THE KING OF SLOTH – ANA HUANG
How can we forget to complete the series of Ana Huang. The third book of the king of sin’s series is truly making us walk on tip toes because we want something to happen but the story is just taking us through small crazy steps. A steamy reverse grumpy sunshine romance is literally everything. Well because he did not want anyone enough to chase him until he met her. Xavier Callisto the billionaire hare with cute dimples and laid back attitude meets Sloane Kensington a high powered publicist who is used to handling difficult clients. Xavier has no interest in taking over his fathers empire and he doesn’t really care about women until it’s her. Some circumstances bring them closer than ever where he realises he just wants her meanwhile Sloane is forced to work with him. She decides in her mind to never fall for him and it doesn’t matter how fast he makes her heartbeat he will only be a client. Just a rock on – tale.
There you have it folks, these are the recommendations for you to read. Every single one of these books have different purposes for you to read and some of them have literally made me stay up for nights.
