“ Books are a uniquely portable magic.” – Stephen King. Escaping into another universe where the author’s creativity meets with your imagination results in heaven. Drama, suspense, romance, humour, or learning. When it comes to disappearing into our own dreamland, we all have different options. And I know exactly what non-readers will do: it’s so much better to see a movie or a series about it. Alternatively, an audiobook will suffice.. Yes, it is easier to do all of those things, and I agree that audiobooks are a good alternative, but movies often miss the saucy or important parts because everything can’t fit into a movie, which is why people prefer to read Harry Potter or Fifty Shades of Grey in the form of a book.

Let’s just say if you don’t like reading maybe you did not find the right book for yourself. So without further delay here are the best picks of our books, continued from part one.
- THE DEAD ROMANTICS – ASHLEY POSTON
This is the book for you if you want a plot that is unexpected, funny, and has a little drama and romance. Florence Day works as a ghostwriter for one of the industry’s most well-known romance authors. Her office’s editor will not offer her a deadline extension to submit a book. Florence recently went through a painful breakup, and for the way she was feeling, love was dead to her. Interestingly, she works in an industry that likes romance, thus she has decided to leave her job. Wait a second… There’s a little drama lacking, and it’s here. She receives a phone call informing her that her father has died. As if she hadn’t already lost something valuable. Poor Florence. She had fled her home since no one in the community understood her. Something was destined to happen and as she attended her father’s burial, with all hopes dashed and no love left. She notices something at the funeral. That’s a ghost, I swear. Omg! Nothing she had imagined, and the added bonus was that the ghost is quite attractive. Her mind is brewing something new as these paranormal occurrences take place. What if she didn’t comprehend love at all? While she doubts everything, this gorgeous story-telling is full of new pages, plot twists, and a lot of fun. Which is really worth reading.

- GETTING THINGS DONE – DAVID ALLEN
David Allen is a management consultant who illustrates how to attain stress-free performance at work in his book Getting Things Done. He claims that our ability to relax is directly proportional to our productivity. Now, that is what I call cool. Nobody ever said to me, “Listen, try to relax a little, and everything will fall into place.” We already know that the clearer the mind, the more effective the task. But this guy is demonstrating how we may tell the world that by taking little steps. “ Do it, Delegate it, Defer it and Drop it.” is something you can learn and apart from this he also explained how stress and anxiety can be overwhelming for our pretty little brains and obviously to feel good about what you’re doing in your life. If you need a daily dose of inspiration, this is the book for you.
- TWISTED GAMES – ANA HUANG
Continuing the twisted series’ obsession. The romance of a beautiful princess and a hot shot bodyguard is amazing. The mixture is certainly problematic, but it is good enough to halt your heartbeat. Bridget Von Ascheberg is stubborn, sweet, kind, and emotional. Whereas Rhys Larsen has just two rules in his life, the first is to protect his clients and the second is to avoid becoming attached or involved with anyone. The matches strike and the lights flash as they meet. Day by day, they spend time together while Bridget breaks rules and Rhys tries to keep her in line as they learn to know each other. With the lines drawn by a kingdom and a bodyguard, they both become forbidden fruits. Who knows what happens next when everything comes to a halt. This book’s story is so thrilling that you simply cannot resist reading it.
- RED QUEEN – JUAN GóMEZ-JURADO
Have you ever owned something that you weren’t permitted to touch or open and wondered what was inside? In your thoughts, there’s a whole lot of mystery. That is exactly what this book is, which will be adapted into a Netflix serial killer series in the future. Aside from the mysteries, the queen of the mysteries is this intriguing woman named Antonia. She is fascinating since she never leaves her home and no one is permitted to visit her. Huh? How would she survive, find food, and go about her business? All of these questions arise, yet Antonia believes that she can solve crimes from her attic in Madrid. And, given her introversion, she definitely has no visitors, so when she hears footsteps of unfamiliar people, she knows they are coming for her. People are looking for her? But how does she solve crimes when no visitors are present? Is it a serial murderer case? And the book contains the answers to all of these questions. Skip it or read it? It’s your choice.
