Gifting is not just a tradition it’s an emotion. We feel this every single time before we think about gifting but when the time comes to actually choose on what to present as a gift to  a person you can’t seem to find much because some of the are either too out there or they’re not just giving you a vibe if that gift is right for the following person. Let’s say it is Valentine’s Day then you don’t want something cringey, it’s a birthday then omg she already has so many things and I need something personal or if its Diwali or Christmas well then too many options but have to get the right one for the loved ones. 

Let’s sort this out a little bit shall we. let’s find something in general yet out of the box thinking for special occasions and that’s what makes it a #nocringeedition. 

1. BIRTHDAYS

They fall once a year and you don’t really know what you’re celebrating. Is it you survived another year or you’re getting older. Kidding aside, they’re a pretty nice occasion to be with your loved ones and enjoy life and an event like that obviously requires something personal and something that speaks about how the birthday boy/girl is. A general special customization works great for this occasion. Like customising their star map on the day they were born, if an artistic person has a personalised paint box or sketch pad with their name engraved, a treasure or accessory box with their name or it, plant pots or maybe engraved aprons. Something that they love to do and will be useful to them. Special mention can be if they love cooking you can get them a pot or pan with their initials on it.

2. FESTIVALS

So many different occasions and a wide variety of options and the thing with festivals is that the gift needs to be filled with love, happiness and a lot of good goodies. Usually since most of the things are a family event it is good to go with food items but not just a simple box of chocolates or cookies you can try for beautiful hampers. Custom made hampers are a thing and everyone knows it. So if you want to make it a fun family event you can possibly give a personalised scrapbook to fill all the memories in or a personalised art where you can portray the festival and what it means to another person. A family candle sets each fragrance dedicated to a particular member. Or a set of personalised mugs and coasters. Just simple yet very useful.

3. ANNIVERSARIES

Personal and celebratory, this would be the perfect definition. Anniversaries are special in their own way, they are mainly for collecting wholesome memories and celebrating love. So try to give something special like a whole giftbox of couple items, engraved glasses, engraved jewellery or jewellery set of like a watch and a bracelet, a customised song, and one of the best gifts can be an advent calendar where they can open 10 different gifts or how many ever days you want them to open before their anniversary. 

And as we speak for general gifts there are tons but you can make them special with a DIY twist or maybe just a good old written letter. Memory boxes are a special mention for all of these occasions because once you’ve collected enough well its just a celebratory fest to look at them. Gifting should not be something that you just give of course unless you don;t like that person but just giving the joy of something and to see their reactions is always worth it. Also the prank gifts are always nice for a good laughter memory you can recollect later.
