BEST BOARD AND CARD GAMES OF ALL TIME PART 4

Games are a love for everyone, games and entertainment enter your life by choice and to be honest there are a lot of options now. Retro games, play stations, VR games, outdoor games, arcade, athletic games and indoor games but what you want to adopt is your choice. I mean certainly people have specifications of what they want but we don’t do that for games because whatever comes our way just has to be fun, strategic and just like not boring according to your taste. And as a fan of games myself I like to lay out my options and you know what they say sharing is caring. So without further ado let’s continue the series, here are some of the best board and card games of all time.

  1. ILLUSION

Well as specific as the name is don’t fall for that illusion. This card game is all about testing your eye, shooting your luck and oh, thinking if you can beat them all right under their noses. There are 2 decks of cards in this game, the first deck contains all the illusions. There are designs on front and back of this deck which show the percentage of each colour and what I mean by that is you have to look at what patterns the cards are showing and accordingly decide in your mind that how much percentage of each colour is there. There are only four colours in this deck and that is red, yellow, green and blue.  Caution here, observe shrewdly because your eyes can deceive you. The second deck has arrows of all the colours and in each round one arrow card will be flipped and the players have to play clock wise.

You have 2 choices: the first is to flip a card and the second is to challenge. Now obviously most of the game goes by flipping and so the player playing has to arrange the cards in an ascending order. The twist obviously is when you choose the second option and that is to challenge the player playing because you feel that the other person’s order or percentage may be wrong. The person who is right gets the arrow cards and at last the one with the most cards wins.

  1. AZUL: QUEENS GARDEN

Well we all know I would never give up without a classic, but just in this it’s a sequel of the classic. So the king of Portugal hires the best garden designers in Portugal, your job is to carefully decorate the garden. And as we know about the classic rules of Azul a player takes turns to create designs from the suppliers to the board. The score is based on how you decorate. Extra points for specific designs and a complete set and obviously the best designs get the queen’s blessing.

  1. CODENAMES

Well this board game is obviously fun and a classic game to play. Players are divided into teams  Red and Blue and you obviously have to pick out a leader. The Leader’s goal is to lead them to victory. At start there will be a 25 card display with different words and each card has a correlated position representing different colours. Only the team leader is allowed to see the colour card. The leaders are supposed to enact according to the words and let their teams find out the correlated colours. The first team to guess it all wins.

  1. POINT SALAD

Look, strategize and score is the motive of this game. There are 6 different vegetables and each vegetable has their own score. Now there is a score card from which you can choose which vegetables you want to collect. For example if there are 2 points for a carrot there will be a minus 1 for the onion. So your goal is to draft the combination of vegetables and points according to your strategy and earn the points to win.

There you have it folks, these are some of my suggestions to liven up your games stock or just liven up the next get together. And to be honest all of these are so fun that I plan to buy them all.
