‘Tonight’s agenda: pure entertainment and good vibes,’ we say. Monday is a stressful day, but I propose we make it enjoyable. The abrupt increase in your stress level can be quite dangerous, and after a restful weekend or simply sleeping all weekend, it’s time to get back to work. So let’s make the most despised day of the week a little more enjoyable. 

Let this week’s movie recommendation be a natural generator, without further ado here are this week’s top 4 entertaining movies.

1. NO HARD FEELINGS

There is no doubt that a teenage movie contains good drama, entertainment, and romance, and with just the right dose, your mood can be lifted. A woman in her 30s lost her mother at a young age, and in order to save her home, she decided to do something to make a lot of money. She chooses to join a dating service and meets a wealthy family. TConcerned about their son’s lack of socialisation and dating, his parents employ her to date and become personal with him. The plot has a lot of twists and turns that keep them both interested in each other. Will they, however, fall in love? Will they get along? What if the guy discovers the truth? Discover it all only on NETFLIX.

2. BAAP KAUN?

A hilarious night is something we look forward to. Baap kaun, a film by Kunal Khemu? Basically, it’s a fun play with a sarcastic actor.  Because he has no idea who his father is, his standard line is “Tu jaanta hai mera baap kaun hai?” (translation: do you know who my father is?) which is amusing since it might be a threat, or him asking others if they know their father. Young man falls in love, but his father-in-law is not convinced until he sees his father. Will he be able to figure out who his father is with four possible candidates? This film is ideal for a good laugh and is exclusively available on Disney+ Hotstar.

3. MY FAKE BOYFRIEND

Are you ready for a scandal? So, here we go. A young man is in a difficult circumstance in which he is unable to keep his toxic lover away from him, so his best friend makes a phoney social media page claiming that he is in a relationship with a person named Cristian… OOH! That’s quite saucy. So, while he continues to fake dates, he chooses to enrol in culinary lessons, where he may discover the love of his life, but with all the social media scandal, there are complications, drama, and, well, love. That’s what I mean by a blockbuster.  Is it okay to stream it or skip it? Your preference is available on Amazon Prime Video.

4. KHUFIYA

Let’s watch some crime drama, shall we? The Khufiya film is based on the Indian spy agency RAW. Where the RAW team is hired to locate a mole who is leaking their defense secrets. Now, the loving Wamiqa Gabbi (Charu) must play both a spy and a lover to figure out who is behind this masquerade, with his husband being the major suspect because their salary does not explain their luxury lifestyle. Ravi, Charu’s husband, discovers the cameras and escapes. In the process, Charu is shot. Meanwhile, Ravi abducts their son with him. Will Charu ever see his son again? Will RAW ever capture Ravi? Is anything threatening RAW that immediately connects with the nation on the way? This spine-chilling play is only available on NETFLIX.
